Will you have a Wedding Register?

No, we will not. Instead, following Asian culture but also with our multicultural guests in mind, we will be doing an OPTIONAL money gift.

Background

In many asian weddings (including Thai and Japanese), it is customary to give money in envelopes as the wedding gift (as opppose to the Wedding Register found in the UK/US etc).

How much should we give?

First of all, we would like to enphasise that this is OPTIONAL. As many of our guests are flying from far away, we are already grateful for the effort made to attend our wedding. However, if anyone would like to give us a wedding gift, we have provided a price guideline for both Thai and Japanese customs.

Thai: 500~2000+Baht

Japan: 30000, 50000+Yen (Odd numbers)
